Hi. I’m Daphne. Welcome to Laurels and Latitudes.

I’ve been creating things since I was young. When I was in elementary school, I would make “clothes” for my dolls with leftover scraps of material from my mom - no sewing, just wrapping, twisting, tying with ribbon, etc. I could keep myself busy for hours! And it just kind of went from there.

I simply love to create. After recently moving into our house in the South Carolina Low Country, I started painting a few objects to decorate. I found I really enjoyed it, but realized my house was only so big! So, Laurels and Latitudes was born as a way for me to share my love of creating with others.
